Volunteer

Joining The Greyhound Network as a volunteer can be a rewarding experience.  Help is needed every step of the journey from Sydney, Australia to the forever couches here in the US.

From Interviews, home and reference checks to being a “Running Mate” to help support adopters, join the team! Would you like to help transport , take photos, work events, help with fundraising? Join the team! There’s always a need for data-entry, website and social media support and more. Best of all, you can volunteer, regardless of where you live.

The minimum age to volunteer is 18 years old or parental permission. If you’d like to join the volunteer family, please submit the application via the Volunteer Application button below.

Foster Caregiver

One of the most rewarding volunteer experience is becoming one of our Foster Caregivers. Foster homes facilitate the greyhounds transition from track to couch potato. The joy of watching a greyhound discover life as a pet is like no other experience. We’ll provide the vet care, food and if needed, a bed, crate and or x-pen. Most important of all, we’ll be there to support you and your foster hound through the transition.

If you’ve never fostered or had a greyhound, no problem. We provide support to make sure you’re successful as you learn more about the breed.

Donations

Financial: The Greyhound Network is a volunteer run 501(c)3 charity dedicated to sighthound and greyhound welfare. We rely on donations for everything-transport, vet care, food and more for the greyhounds in our care.
